Zachary Knowles is the co-founder and a Managing Partner of Millennial Solutions, LLC, the parent company of Global Business Lending, a firm that provides working capital for small and medium-sized businesses in the U.S. and Canada. His career and entrepreneurial endeavors comprise sales and customer service, marketing and finance.
He was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug very early in life. During all four years in high school, he worked as a sales agent for his father’s business: a travel agency and Greyhound bus line franchise. There, he acquired the knowledge of maintaining and growing a small business, customer care and continued work ethic.
While pursuing a degree in Finance at Florida Atlantic University, he worked his way up from cashier to department head to store supervisor at Best Buy, where he developed a unique set of sales skills and staff management skills that increased store productivity from 8th in the district to 3rd in less than a year.Continuing to hone his skills in finance, he began an internship with Manhattan Trader’s Group, Inc. -- a turning point in his career as he sharpened his analytical nature and laser-focus mentality on an aggressive trading floor.
Armed with a wealth of sales experience under his belt, he launched his first business bearing the Millennial name in 2009 where he offered credit restoration services and unsecured credit lines. As he began phasing out his business in 2011, he became heavily sought after by South Florida and New York-based financial firms.
Working as a Regional Manager with NAB, HSBC and Global Payment Systems then as a Director of Sales and Marketing at one of the largest merchant processing companies in South Florida (APS), he trained hundreds of sales agents, created and implemented strategies for Business to Business Sales in Merchant Services and was responsible for day to day follow ups with high volume merchants and new business enrollments.
In 2014, he and his sister launched Millennial Solutions, LLC as a reincarnation of his former company.
